Our Membership Policy

1. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and domiciled within the jurisdiction of the Society.
2. Those joining as members shall pay an entry fee of Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty (250/-) and a subscription fee of Rupees Fifty (50/-) per month.
3. Those joining as members shall sign the membership register with their name, address and date of joining as members.
4. The Executive Committee shall have sole authority to examine and decide on applications for membership.
5. Candidates for membership shall be approved by any member of the society.

Executive Committee

1. The administration of the Society shall be vested in an Executive Committee consisting office-bearers and of three (3) no (6) (9) committee members, namely the President, Secretary and Treasurer, elected by the General Meeting.
2. The quorum of the Executive Committee shall be one-half of the total number of Executive Committee members
3. Members who are absent without reason for three consecutive Executive Committee meetings may be removed from the Executive Committee.

Powers and Duties of Members of the Executive Committee:

1. The Executive Committee shall administer the Society in accordance with the Bye-laws subject to the resolutions of the General Meeting
2. It shall be the duty of the Executive Committee to find means of financing the Society and to establish and maintain the necessary immovable property.
3. The Executive Committee shall be responsible for recruiting members to the Society.
4. Dues should be collected from members in order and income and expenditure accounts should be kept in order.
5. The Executive Committee shall be responsible for producing the documents required to be produced before the Society Registrar from time to time.
